Welcome

~ Background ~
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. I hope all is well and as for me I am doing fine thank you. I have decided to dedicate my beauty experiences with you. As a teen I have suffered from acne which led me to become shy, avoid pictures and anti-social but I still battle with acne but not as much. I have learned to accept my skin and feel most comfortable in it because imperfection is what I am made of and I am proud of it. My acne has subsided mainly due to maturing. I am now eighteen years old and my passion for skincare is deeply rooted and I enjoy and love trying new products to maintain and better my skin. In a way I am thankful for having acne because it is what inspired me to better take care of my skin and over all health. To be honest with you had it not been for my acne I probably would not have shown much interest in skincare. Surely I have oily skin but I am far from being scared of hydration because its not what breaks me out. Matter of fact its what keeps my excessive oil under control. I am not into super anti-aging products (lifting/ firming/ reconstruction and etc) but if I were to find a good basic to advanced type of anti aging product then I will be more then willing to include it into my skincare routine.

~Skin Type~
I have oily/ combination/ acne-prone skin which suffers from acne, acne scars, sensitive conditions, and it easily tans. I am oily on my nose, inner cheeks and sometimes my eye lids. I am normal on my forehead, ears, and neck. I am normal to sometimes dehydrated from my upper lid to the jawline, yes included the lower cheeks.

~Concerns~
What I am mostly concerned about my skin is that I want it to be well hydrated, refined texture, fading of the acne scars, protection from environmental aggressions, nighttime repairs and over all prevention of premature aging.

~Products~
I look for products with antioxidants, natural ingredients, peptides, vitamins and minerals, naturally occurring ingredients found in your skin and advanced science. It is always a plus to have a product if it comes in a protective/ airless pumps. In terms of texture I like a light weight fluid which has a melt away texture upon application without leaving any oily film behind. I will still be happy with a product with a lotion like texture but rarely will I use a thick cream based products. I also look for products which are oil-free but keep in mind that in cosmetic terminology Oil-Free usually means it is free of mineral oil. Therefore a brand could use an alternative oil which could potentially make your skin look oilier. Anyways upon application I want my skin to feel well hydrated (dewy), nourished, protected, and during the night time recovering and repairing from past damages. In long-term effects I want my skin to be healthy and in hopes of the products living up to its claims other wise I will not be a returning consumer of that particular product.

~Disclaimer~
All of the products I have reviewed are purchased by me with my own money. I am not getting paid to review or advertise a specific product unless if I mention other wise.

I hope you find my blog helpful and if you have any questions please comment on the comment box or send me a message. Until then,
